A Gift!
55Good Morning,
I am writing this letter from my soul. My heart wasn't big enough; please read it to the last word. Just maybe you will be a part of changing the life of my friend Maddy.
Maddy is a great lady, if she wasn't I would not be writing this letter. Sometimes bad things happen to good people, maybe it was a test from our father, and Maddy passed it. The amount of giving she does is overwhelming, the issue I am having is if we did, I didn't.
Trapped in a wheelchair for the rest of her life because of a mistake someone made, but the reason for the mistake doesn't matter anymore, she is trapped.
Let's try to be Maddy for a couple of minutes: beautiful inside, breathtaking on the outside, loving, caring doing all the right things for her family, on top of the world. Enjoying dancing, you see she is Hispanic and music and dancing was part of her every day life. Do you remember how you felt at 21? The world was yours.
Somewhere between taking the world on and the dreams of finding the love of her life, having a great career and being a mother, she ended up in this chair.
Sitting there day after day, watching the world go by, the desire to get up and walk over to the kitchen sink has to be so hard. All of the questions, most would given up, I know I would of; instead she pushes harder and helps everyone she meets.
Well there is a chance she can walk to the store but we need to help her, sorry to say her clock is ticking, she wants children. I am sure God had His reasons for what happen, but I don't think He is too happy with me right now. I am her friend and haven't made it a priority in my life. I am now, so what I am asking of you is to help me make up for some time I wasted, we are against the clock.
I will no longer pretend to be a friend but will earn her love under God's light to help make her dreams come true. Please help me to help her.
I love Maddy, and want this young lady to smile, she does now, but really smile knowing she tried everything she could to achieve her dreams.
Thanks,
Linda
